Thread Stand - "Old Iron" for Singer 15, 66, 201 and many Singer Clones
This "Old Iron" Thread Stand & Guide is designed for the Singer 15, 66, 201 and many Singer Clones. Your original screw should work with this stand but on occasion the original screw is a little short, if you find yourself needing a longer screw you can purchase one here.
Perfect for modern, cross-wound thread spools or large cones for easier flow of thread!
It attaches to the back of the machine with the use of the thumb screw. When not in use the base assembly of the stand can remain attached to the machine. Unscrew the black screw and the top of the Old Iron Thread Stand removes easily and can be stowed conveniently inside the Sewing Machine case for storage and portability.
This will NOT fit a Singer Featherweight or a Singer 99.
When using larger cones - you simply adjust the placement of the Thread Stand to accommodate front to back, which allows the thread to flow easily off of the cone from the table as shown below.
